Sometimes it’s hard to know who we are and what our gifts are.
Am I a bird? A mountain? A tree?
What is my place in the world?
It’s hard to know because we’re so close to ourselves. We inherently don’t have a good perspective.
Or we get confused… “I think I’m this one thing, but maybe that’s not it.”
That’s where my coaching team and I’s work comes in.
We are the still water that can reflect back your shape and show you your brilliance.
We recently began working with a great client who came in feeling confused and unhappy with his career. He had all this drive and energy, but he didn’t know where to put it.
I got to check in with him after just one session with his coach. His entire language and confidence had changed.
As a result of our program (and my phenomenal coaching team!), he now understood the general outline of who he was. This gave him information about where he wanted to go.
We have a tendency to walk around like anxious birds. Why am I not mountaining right? Why am I not big and solid and stationary? What is wrong with me?
Well, sweetheart, you’re a bird.
Birds fly. Mountains stand. Trees grow.
None is better than the other. It’s just good to know who you are. And a huge relief to embrace it.
