Jenny’s Story: Building My Confidence and Self-Trust
I was in crisis; in survival mode. There was a lot of uncertainty, confusion, and self-doubt. I was unsure of myself and unsure about what was going on in the world. I was worried about how I would make a living.
I had been trying to see if doing copywriting on my own would work. It was a trial and error thing. I thought my hesitation was fear. But actually the work was not in alignment.
I was frustrated by the circumstances I was in. I was frustrated with myself that I couldn’t make a decision. I was feeling lost, wondering, “Where do I go? What do I do?”
I wasn’t sure if investing in career coaching was wise. I thought to myself, “Do I really need help? Oh, I could just do it on my own.” I was concerned about being financially responsible.
I did decide to move forward because the programs resonated with me.
My Experience with Career Coaching
Once I was in my coaching program there was a clear process that was also totally customized to me. Cardy Career Coaching’s Signature CLARITY programs take into account each individual’s strengths and weaknesses and helps them to see themselves in a new light. My coach guided me to figure things out without pushing things on me. It was a collaborative process. My coach gave me both space and support, along with real feedback.
The coaching program just gave me so much to think about. It really helped clarify what my challenges were and what I had to deal with. It’s easy to get so in your head. You really need to have that external interaction to work things through.
Confident and in Alignment
Now I feel a lot more settled in what I’ve chosen, and I also know that things might change. If that happens, I have confidence that I can handle it and that I have the resources to handle it.
The coaching was so impactful. My coach helped me to increase my self-trust and decision-making. I feel better. I feel normal. I feel more like myself. I went full circle and came back home to my purpose.
I would tell people that you get out of your program as much as you put into it. You have to take those tools that you’re given and apply them. If you’re not willing to dig deep you won’t come up with the stuff that’ll change your life.
